No Guarantee of Expert Availability

Submission of an intake form does not guarantee expert availability, qualification fit, or retention. All engagements are subject to expert confirmation, conflict checks, and direct attorney-expert negotiation.

Attorney Responsibility

Attorneys are solely responsible for the independent evaluation, qualification, retention, and supervision of any expert witness. Veritas’s role is limited to intake review, sourcing assistance, and introduction coordination.

Scope of Fees

Fees paid to Veritas cover intake review, sourcing, and introduction support only. Expert hourly fees, retainers, and engagement terms are negotiated directly between attorney and expert.

AI-Assisted Workflows

Veritas employs AI-assisted intake review tools to accelerate analysis. AI outputs are advisory and do not constitute legal or expert opinion. All AI outputs are subject to human concierge review.

Confidentiality & Privilege

Attorneys are responsible for ensuring that any information shared with Veritas is appropriate to share with a third-party litigation support provider. Veritas takes reasonable steps to handle materials confidentially, but cannot guarantee preservation of legal privilege.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Veritas’s aggregate liability for any claim arising out of services rendered is limited to the fees paid for the specific engagement giving rise to the claim.

Modifications

Veritas may modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of modifications.
